Whiteheath Infant & Nursery School

A much-needed new wing of the school is in construction adding to the original lightweight steel frame building of the 1970s. The new extension forms a new entrance to the school together with classrooms and facilities for Year 2. The L-shaped design forms a new protected courtyard with the existing building as well as a covered zone where parents and siblings can gather at the end of day. It is a low energy building incorporating thermal mass and a green roof.
